Sensemaking Therapy

for the one who longs to remember who she truly is

DSC03321.jpg

Hi, I’m Lika Liubchenko.

I’m a certified hypnotherapist, EMDR practitioner, and coach with over 10 years of experience working with people.

I work with inner blocks, recurring patterns, and deep emotional experiences. Together, we can untangle old stories, find your inner anchor, and take steps toward a life that reflects your true self. I create a safe space where you can slow down, tune into your authentic feelings, and open the door to inner transformation.

My approach blends gentle care and professionalism, intuition and proven methods:

  • Hypnotherapy

  • EMDR (working with trauma and difficult memories)

  • Coaching focused on wholeness and self-healing

My goal is for every woman I work with to be able to say to herself: “I accept myself exactly as I am. I am worthy, I am valuable.”

Common Reasons Women Come to Me

Exhaustion and a Loss of Purpose

Feeling tired, apathetic, or burnt out? When you’re running on empty, even the simplest tasks can feel overwhelming, and thoughts of escape keep popping up. This may be your body and soul’s way of telling you: it’s time to take care of yourself.

Constant Pressure and Tension

Struggling to sleep, feeling tightness in your body, or dealing with that “buzz in your head” that just won’t stop? If relaxing feels impossible, it’s worth exploring the deeper reasons — and creating space for inner calm.

Living a Life That Doesn’t Feel Like Yours

Too many obligations, too many expectations — and not enough room for you. If it’s hard to hear what you truly want and to figure out your own path, it might be time to reconnect with yourself and find your own meaning.

Barriers in Relationships

Repeating conflicts, difficulties communicating, or feeling like closeness is just too hard. Therapy can help you explore how you build relationships — and create the kind of connection that truly nourishes you.

Feeling Like You’re in the Wrong Place

Even when you’re successful, you might feel like your achievements are just luck. The fear of being “exposed,” constant self-doubt, and comparing yourself to others can drain your energy and keep you from feeling truly enough.

My Approach and Experience

Choosing a therapist is an important decision — here’s what shapes my approach:

✔ Deep Understanding of People.

With over 10 years in HR, I’ve learned to notice the subtle cues in human behavior, to hear the real needs behind the words — and to speak with respect and meaning.

✔ A Personal Path of Healing.

My own therapy journey spans more than 7 years of searching, exploring, and transforming. From classic methods to ketamine therapy — I’ve walked this path, and it gives me the depth I bring to my work today.

International certification.

Training in coaching according to ICF standards and working with leading professionals has given me not only knowledge, but also confidence in the quality of support I can provide.

A space where you can be yourself.

Sessions are held in an atmosphere of trust, confidentiality and acceptance. Here you can feel safe - just as you are now.

Flexible online format.

It doesn't matter where you are — what matters is that you are ready to be in touch with yourself.
Online sessions are convenient, comfortable, and on your terms.

The first changes are already underway.

After just 2–3 meetings, most women experience internal shifts: relief from tension, new clarity, and the first steps towards their true selves.

Who Is This Therapy For?

If you’re between 25 and 45 and you’re tired of living on autopilot — ready to reconnect with your feelings and desires — I warmly invite you to a personal consultation. If you feel it’s time to step into inner wholeness, harmony, and self-discovery, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.

"The experience of hypnotherapy was unexpectedly deep and effective for me. I came with a specific belief that prevents me from living. I don't understand where it came from. During the session with Lyka, I was able to find its roots and work through the situation that "hurt". I sincerely thank you, Lyka! It seems to me that this is an excellent method for working through situations that classical psychotherapy cannot handle."

How Does the Free Consultation Work?

During a 30-minute session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what’s weighing on your mind. I’ll share a bit about my approach, explain how I work, and answer any questions you have. This consultation is a space where you can speak openly, feel supported, and see if my style resonates with you — and if we’re a good fit to work together.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What Is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic method that uses a state of deep relaxation or light trance to work with the subconscious mind. In this state, the influence of critical thinking fades, allowing us to gently access and shift deep-seated beliefs, emotional blocks, and inner conflicts.
Research has shown hypnotherapy’s effectiveness: a meta-analysis by Irving Kirsch (1995) found it boosts psychotherapy outcomes by 70%, while Hammond (2010) highlights its benefits in working with anxiety, depression, and psychosomatic issues. In my practice, hypnotherapy helps to:
• lower anxiety and tension
• transform negative beliefs
• process stressful or traumatic memories
• reconnect with your body, emotions, and inner resources

What Is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a modern therapy method designed to work with traumatic memories and overwhelming emotions. In a session, you focus on a charged memory while receiving bilateral (two-sided) stimulation — typically through eye movements. This process helps your mind process the experience, reduce its emotional weight, and improve your overall emotional state. EMDR is particularly effective for anxiety, PTSD, stress, and deep inner conflicts.

Developed by Francine Shapiro in the 1980s, EMDR’s effectiveness has been confirmed by over 40 randomized controlled trials. It’s shown to be as effective as cognitive behavioral therapy for PTSD, and many clinical reviews (Lee & Cuijpers, 2013) report its benefits in reducing anxiety and depression.

In my work, EMDR helps to:
• process traumatic memories without retraumatization
• reduce the emotional charge of past events
• integrate those experiences and restore your inner balance
• improve sleep, focus, energy levels, and overall well-being

How Can You Get to Know Me and My Methods Before We Start?

I understand that working with your experiences and trauma is an important and sensitive step. That’s why, before we begin our full journey together, you’re welcome to schedule a free consultation. It’s a chance to meet me, hear about my approach, and get answers to any questions you have. You’ll get a feel for whether my style of support resonates with you — and whether you’d like to continue this path together.

What Are the Next Sessions Like?

Each session lasts around 1.5 hours and is tailored to your specific needs. We’ll work gently, at your pace, using methods that support deep inner change:

Hypnotherapy — In a deeply relaxed state, we work with your subconscious to uncover and shift inner blocks, transform limiting beliefs, and tap into your resources for change.

EMDR — A method that’s especially powerful for working with traumatic experiences and intense emotions. Through bilateral stimulation (like eye movements), your natural ability to process and integrate difficult memories is activated, reducing their impact on your present.

All sessions are online — in a confidential space where you can feel safe, relax, open up, and move toward inner harmony, stability, and strength.

How to Prepare for a Session

Stable Connection. Make sure your internet is reliable to avoid interruptions during our session.

Quiet Space. Choose a calm, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed. It should feel like a safe space — where you can truly be yourself.

Comfort. Get into a comfortable position and free your hands, so you can fully relax.

Tech Check. Test your microphone and camera ahead of time. If possible, use headphones — they’ll improve sound quality and help you feel more present.

How Long Does Therapy Last?

The length of therapy depends on your unique needs and goals. Some people only need a few sessions to start making changes, while others choose a longer journey for deeper self-work. During the free consultation, we’ll explore what’s coming up for you and create an initial plan.

On average, the process lasts from 3 to 10 sessions — and it often brings results faster than traditional long-term therapy.
